1957 Chevy Bel-Air
Norm's 57 Chevy Bel-Air 2 door convertible was brought in as a running driving car, but Norm wanted a modern and reliable drivetrain and handling package. We started by plating the chassis and replacing the front of the frame with custom rails and a Heidts front suspension, a Ride-tech 4 bar rear suspension with a Ford 9", and an Art-morrison center subframe. A Chevy LS3 crate motor and 4L60E transmission was installed and hooked to an American Autowire harness and Dakota Digital gauge package and a Flaming river steering column. The finishing touch to the interior was a Vintage Air system and a new soft top.
